Torque Transfer Standard Measure - DTN 38

The DTN 38 is a standard for calibrating torque measuring systems to determine the operating forces in rotary actuators. Rotary actuators are used in many technical devices and are increasingly subjected to full quality testing as a consequence of increasing quality requirements.
Specially developed rotary haptic systems register the characteristic torque curve of the knobs. The test system needs to be calibrated regularly to ensure that it functions properly.
SYSTEC GmbH manufactures a wide range of different test systems and has looked in great depth at the calibration of rotary haptic measuring systems. SYSTEC has developed the DTN 38 standard, which makes it possible to calibrate the entire haptic test system for the first time. This standard works on the basis of reluctance force to embody a calibrated torque curve in a defined form.

To calibrate these systems, SYSTEC has developed a THN force transfer standard with which it is possible to calibrate the entire haptic test system. Using backlash-free flexure bearings for axial guidance minimizes any friction that arises and enhances the system’s repeatability. Tappet movement is also limited in the axial direction, also warranting an otherwise stiff mounting of the tappet. Another advantage provided by the axial guidance is the standards’ high level of tolerance to eccentric actuation.
The standard has an integrated overload protection to prevent damage up to a force of 25 N.

Luminance Transfer Standard - LTN 14

The SYSTEC luminance transfer standard LTN 14 can be equipped with up to 6 light emitting diodes of different wavelengths and allows luminance up to 3000 cd/m².

The compact design allows the cameras to be calibrated within a system without having to change the camera adjustment. The internal construction of a LTN14 as a miniaturized integrated Ulbricht sphere with additional satellite sphere for the LED provides a homogeneity of luminance nearly of 99%.
